Admission for Class I
Admission in month of April (Academic Session start from 1st April).
Registration of application from Jan to Feb. Specific dates as per Vidyalaya rules.
No admission test .
 
Admission for Class II and above (except XI)
Admission test is conducted
Merit List prepared for each category of priority separately. Admission granted in order of merit.
   
Admission for Class XI
Admission will be made in order of merit in the sequence of priorities on the basis of Board results of class X.
  Situation : When adequate eligible students are available (SITUATION I) when not available (SITUATION II).

Admission Test will conducted in following subjects :
Primary classes (II to V) English, Hindi, Maths
Middle classes (VI to VIII) English, Hindi, Maths & General knowledge.
Secondary classes (IX to X) English, Hindi, Maths, Science & Social studies
   
Preorities in Admission
The following preorities shall be followed in granting admissions
Kendriya Vidyalaya under Civil/Defence Sectors
Children of transferable central government employees including ex - servicemen.
Children of non- transferable central government employees including ex- servicemen.
Children of transferable and non-transferable employees of Autonomous bodies/Public sector undertaking / Institute of Higher Learning of the Government of India.
Children of transferable state government employees.
Children of non-transferable employees of state government.
Children of transferable and non-transferable employees of autonomous  bodies/ Public sector Undertakings / Institute of Higher learning of the State Governments.
Children from any other category.
   
Pass criteria- Candidates securing less than 35% marks in each subject & less than 40% marks in aggregate will not be eligible for admission irrespective of their category in the priority.
